Zamcog's passion is to help protect and care for vulnerable children in Africa. Zamcog was established in 2004 to help fund and support Shitima Community School in Kabwe, Zambia. This school welcomes boys and girls of all faith traditions into a stable and caring environment in which diversity, mutual respect, self-discipline and personal achievement are valued.

The school provides education, shelter and daily meals to orphans, former street kids and other vulnerable children who would otherwise live in great deprivation. Currently there are over 300 pupils at Shitima School, with plans to increase the student roll as new facilities are constructed.
