Currency
The local currency is the South African Rand.

Minimum age
The minimum age for the event is 16. However if participants are between 16 and 18 they will be unable to ride on the road sections of the event. These are not envisaged to be long at all but are neccessary on a couple of the sections to link the course we are taking. At these points young rider will ride with support to the 1st available point where they can re mount the bikes and start off-roading again

Training
Whether you’re a virgin off roader, an old hand looking to hone your rusty skills or, indeed, a regular competitor all will benefit from a day in the dirt at one of the Enduro training camps!

Taking part in a training day will also enable us to grade your ability and ensure that when in Africa you are placed in a team of riders with similar experience. This will prove just as important to the experienced rider as it will to the novice, both in terms of your enjoyment whilst on the event and overall safety.
